Greetings -

What with me being preoccupied with the new race kit and all the
pics I
mined online, I am remiss in not sending all RS 'Cross Team
sponsors, pals, and cousins the news from this past weekend's
Sucker Brook event in Auburn, New Hampshire.

This was week two of racing for us, and it still is a time to dial in
equipment, get used to the off-cambers, and shake off the cobwebs
from a long road season. To that end, while
Brian Hayes and I each
had mechanicals in our respective races (Brian was in 7th place midway
through his when the tire stopped cooperating. And my qr skewer
acted similarly), pal
Noah Taylor rode to a strong 14th place in the
Elite Men's category. On the other side of the gender score card I am
happy to use the word streak in a sentence cuzza
Amy Wallace once
again put her imprint on the Elite Women's category,
coming in first
against a field of nearly thirty of her peers.
Two races and two wins = AMY POWER atmo*!!!

This coming weekend, the team hits the first of many UCI events when
they travel to Williston, Vermont for the
Vermont Gran Prix of Cyclocross.
I will take a pass on the trip as I spend time with my family and celebrate
the Jewish holiday of Rusha Homa, but I will get results to you after the
weekend nonetheless.

Thanks for reading!
