STOP PRESSES
Greetings -

My pal Tom Officer is a living legend. He had a life as a national class
bicycle racer, did the live-in-Europe-and-race thing long before it was
fashionable, retired, got, er heavy, and is now the same weight as he
was in the mid 70s. For those keeping score, the amount of weight we
are talking about here is nearly SIXTY POUNDS. He's back to mid 140
range now. The best part is that he's healthy, happy, and kicking ass all
spring and summer as our lone (I am no help at all) representative between
cyclocross seasons. Tom has won at least 7 races this year,and though
53 years old, still enters many of the Pro 1-2 events. Amy Wallace has
tipped me off to this banner shot that may not live forever on this pic page,

Offo is a longtime pal and he wears a target on his back because no
break goes and succeeds without Tom. He promises to race 'cross with
us this fall, and that is after a season of at least 60 race starts so far.
